OUR INSPIRATION

The inspiration for Komunuri came from simply looking for a fun and functional lunchbox for her son. As Sehrish searched for the perfect lunchbox for her baby, she continued to grow frustrated with the lack of locally available options in Pakistan.

Sehrish couldn’t find a single lunch box that met international standards and could compete with global brands in terms of quality, designs, functionality, and certifications (being FDA and LFGB approved).

She came across many lunchboxes with cute designs but wanted something more – a lunchbox that’s not just cute but also practical for both parents and kids. And most importantly, Sehrish wanted to make such mealtime products easily available to the masses in Pakistan, especially those who cannot always rely on imported products.

As an entrepreneur, Sehrish chose to create the answer she was seeking and that’s when Komunuri was born. After one year of extensive research and product design, our first design was born and Sehrish’s son finally had the lunchbox Sehrish envisioned!
